Dong-A University's Graduate School of Music aims to cultivate professional leaders and performers in the fields of piano, orchestral music, vocal music, composition, and practical music, based on the best educational conditions and excellent curriculum of intensive major practical education and theory in Korea. In addition, educational programs are constantly being developed and developed so that reality and specialization can be accepted together in line with rapidly changing domestic and foreign environmental changes. In addition to in-depth major practical education, graduate education in parallel with music literature, history and theory is supported by generous support so that students can develop their individual talents to the best through the best educational conditions.

A. Matters concerning admission

B. Matters concerning completion of credits
- Matters concerning the acquisition of credits: Master's courses are courses opened by this department, and 24 credits (9 credits in common, 16 credits in major subjects) must be obtained, and two credits must be obtained for thesis research under the guidance of an advisor.
- Matters concerning completion of supplementary courses: Those who enter a department whose master's degree program is different from that of a bachelor's degree program must complete supplementary courses designated by professors related to the department's major at least 9 credits in the master's program, which is not added to the completed credits.
C. Matters concerning foreign language tests
Those who register for at least one semester take the exam twice a year in May and November. (A person who has obtained a prescribed language score or Exemption is possible if you have completed an English course program.)
D. Matters concerning the comprehensive examination
Two of the major subjects are selected and implemented with the approval of the supervisor and the department responsible professor.
E. Matters concerning the submission and examination of thesis

- Obtain at least 24 credits required for completion (average score of 80 points for all subjects)
- Earn all the credits for completing the specified supplementary course-A person who has completed a regular registration of at least four semesters
- A person who has been guided by a supervisor for at least one semester after submitting a research plan for a dissertation
- A person who has passed the Foreign Language Examination (English) and Comprehensive Examination (two major subjects)
- Payment of research tuition fee only once at the beginning of the semester in which a degree is to be claimed after completion
- At least one semester before the preliminary examination and main examination, the thesis plan is announced by the department concerned

- PaperSolo concert for each major in the third semester and thesis for the fourth semester (However, for practical music majors, sound source submission for the third semester and solo concert)
- No thesis solo concert + performance report for each major in the 4th semester (However, performance report is required for at least 35 pages, and concert is limited to Dow Hall and Lein Hall, which are the venues of this school.)
