As the real estate market and the financial market are connected due to the development of financial engineering techniques, the real estate market and the financial market develop into an inseparable symbiotic relationship. Therefore, we train real estate finance experts with both theory and practical knowledge about real estate finance, aiming at convergence and complex education on financial assets and real estate, which is a real asset.

Department rules

A. Matters concerning admission

  • In principle, it shall be divided into special and general admissions in accordance with the admission regulations for this graduate school. Provided, That the ratio of selection for special and general admissions shall be determined by the responsible professor.
  • For general and special admissions, the acceptance of applicants shall be determined through document screening and oral examinations of majors: Provided, That the number of persons selected for special admissions shall be limited to within a certain range of the total number of persons recruited.
  • Similar Studies and Scope of Recognition : Similar Studies in related disciplines such as Real Estate Asset Management, Urban Planning Corporation, Real Estate Construction, Real Estate Management, Real Estate Intelligence, Real Estate Law, Real Estate Law, and Finance.

B. Matters concerning the completion of credits

  • To acquire credits, at least 40 credits (including 4 credits for thesis research) for a doctoral program, including majors and common mandatory subjects, must be acquired.
  • Designation of supplementary subjects : Any graduate from another major shall be determined by the faculty meeting of the department, and where a similar subject has been completed, it may be recognized according to the decision of the responsible professor.

C. Matters concerning foreign language tests

  • The foreign language test is conducted only in English.

D. Matters concerning the comprehensive examination

  • Comprehensive examination subjects are designated by department responsible professors among the subjects completed during the doctoral course.

E. Matters concerning foreign language examination and comprehensive examination

  • A person who meets all of the following requirements may request a thesis review.
    • qualification to submit a postgraduate degree claim paper
      • A person who has completed regular registration for at least four semesters
      • You must complete 36 credits of course credit and 4 credits of doctoral research (40 credits in total).
      • A person who has passed the Foreign Language Examination and Comprehensive Examination
      • A person who has obtained all the credits for completing the designated supplementary course
      • A person who has been recommended by the supervisor after presenting the thesis plan and public presentation by department at least once under the guidance of the supervisor for at least two semesters
      • A person who has paid research tuition only once at the beginning of a semester in which he/she intends to claim a degree after completion
    • Submission of research plan and presentation of thesis plan
      • A prospective degree claimant shall submit a research plan for a degree claim to the relevant major professor one semester before the preliminary examination, and publicly announce a thesis plan for a degree claim with the attendance of a professor of his or her department.
    • a preliminary examination of a thesis requesting a degree
      • If the person who presented the thesis plan wishes to claim a degree, he/she must undergo a preliminary examination of the department (major) within the relevant semester.
      • The selection of the thesis reviewer is organized by the supervisor in consideration of the thesis subject.
      • The department's responsible professors and supervisors determine whether to refer to this review by synthesizing the thesis submitter's research attitude, validity of the thesis topic, research value, content, and development method.
  • Those who submit doctoral dissertations must meet more than 100% of the results of publication in general academic journals in the relevant field by the final main examination date.
    • Single study (1 author) Published thesis collection: 100%
    • Joint research (number of authors of two papers) Published in a collection of papers: : The lead researcher [first author or corresponding author] is 2/(n+1)×100%, and the co-researcher is 1/(n+1)×100%. However, if the number of authors n is 5 or more, it is considered 5 people
